Ethiopia
A country located in the Horn of Africa. It is bordered by Eritrea to the north it is one of the oldest locations of human existence known to scientists and is widely considered the region from which Homo sapiens first set out for the Middle East and points beyond.Tracing its roots to the 2nd millennium BC, Ethiopia was a monarchy for most of its history.
Tourist destinations include Ethiopia's collection of national parks (including Semien Mountains National Park), and historic sites, such as the cities of Axum, Negash Mosque, Sof `Umer Washa, Harar Jugol and Lalibela

8 Nights 9 Days Discovering Ethiopia

Day 01 - Arrive to Addis be transferred to hotel Lunch and relax.

Day 02 - Early morning departure to Konso via Arbaminch. Lunch in Sodo (3-4hrs) or Arbaminch (5-7 hrs); Arriving to Konso in the evening (9 hrs)

Day 03 -  Visit Konso in the morning and then drive from Konso to Turmi, visiting the Dimeka market on the way. (4 hrs driving) 

Day 04 - Arise early for breakfast then depart for Jinka and on to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi (5 hrs). Following your encounter with the Mursi, return to Jinka to spend the night in Omo.

Day 05 - After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Key Afar to visit the Thursday market. Spend time meandering through the market frequented mostly by the Benna, Ari and Tsemai people. Move on to Arbaminch where you spend the night at Arbaminch (5 hrs). 

Day 06 - Today you have time in Arbaminch before your afternoon flight to Addis so you will have time in the morning for an optional boat trip on Lake Chamo. The price is about US$ 45. Upon your arrival to Addis.

Day 07 - Early this morning, fly to Lalibela accompanied by a Tour Leader. All day visit of the Lalibela rock-hewn churches.. You’ll be picked up at Lalibella Airport and transferred to your central hotel. Lalibella is world famous for its monolithic rock hewn churches. 
Carved by hand out of solid rock in the 12th and 13th Centuries and awash with the chanting of monks, this is a deeply spiritual place and quite rightly a UNESCO World Heritage site. 
You’ll get to visit most of the Central churches that Lalibella is so famous for including the Northern Group (containing the Lalibella Cross), The Western Group (Bete Giyorgis) and the Eastern Group

Day 08 - Fly back to Addis. Optional City tour .After a rest and refresh at the hotel your guide will take you around the highlights of Addis, you’ll get a chance to drink some of the best coffee in the world in the Piazza (old town), explore the National Museum and Archeological Museum (home to the 3.5million year old remains of Lucy) and explore the largest open air market in Africa.

Day 09 - (Feb 11, Mon) Transfer arranged through your hotel to Bole airport.at 7:30a.m.to depart to Mombasa.
